Where is a good source to  purchase the new "carb float needles"?

This seems like a good deal to me. It's for six needles:

Be very wary of aftermarket float needle valves. This is a K&L that came from a Goldwing.

Those carbs had a whole lot more going on than the float valves

That may be true. Yet K&L float valves are coated. The OEM valves are not. I go OEM all the time, every time.

I asked K&L about the image of the bad float needle and this is their response:

"I have never seen a needle look like that before and I have been doing the returns here for about 8 years.

Looks pretty bad like it has been sitting in bad gas for a long time or something similar….strange that there is no damage to the rubber and only the metal.

Most of our float needles come from a supplier in Japan and a lot of them are from the OEM supplier.

We also back up our parts with a year warranty.

We also sell thousands of float needles with very few returns."

Glad you got a response. Still OEM for me when it comes to critical parts of my bike.

Just looks dirty from the picture.  Clean it. If the rubber cone is good and the plunger isn't stuck. It should work.

When I had 3 leaking thru I replaced all 6 with OEM. That was 9 years ago and no problems to date.
