Will be at another Antique Outboard get-together.
Trimble Park, on Lake Beauclair, between Mt. Dora and Apopka.
We will be running the antiques on a 37 mile run on Friday and doing a meet at the park on Saturday.
Trimble Park is a gorgeous park that sits out on a point on the lake and is totally covered in old growth Oaks. Perfect spot to take some gorgeous motorcycle photos.... Roll Eyes
Should have a decent get-together with quite a lot of antique and vintage outboards both on display and out running.
Pretty sure we will have the only running Riley Radial outboard in the world there. The Riley is a 5-cylinder radial design (similar to aircraft engines) engineered and produced in outboard form.

Sounds interesting, if we don't have the expected company I might make a run up there. Weather sure does look good, love to see that old radial and hear it run. I recall once as kids, me and a couple buddies got ahold of this really old(to us) outboard that hadn't been run since dirt was discovered. We scrounged up an old 55 gal. drum, filled it with water and mounted the motor on the side. Had to use a couple blocks of wood under the clamps but we got it solid. We then worked on that thing for 2-3 days to get it running. One afternoon it finally kicked off unexpectedly and promptly emptied the entire barrel. We had a blast with it while it lasted, finally something let go inside and we gave it a decent burial.  Grin

That was over 60 yrs. ago and I remember it like it was.....1953.  Grin

Looks like a few will see you tomorrow, Gary, Murph and myself are riding to the park to look at the antique boats.

Sounds good.
Heading over to where I keep the engines in a bit. Putting the boat I used today away and picking up an engine I have never run to put on the Gheenoe for tomorrow.
Engine for tomorrow is an opposed 4-cyilnder Evinrude, somewhere around 18hp. Should push that boat pretty good.

Bill, what time are you guys planning on getting there. If my right side holds out I also want to ride up to check it out. Darn hip and knee are about useless, but keeps me from tipping over....most of the time.  Grin

Leaving the house at 8 am, should put us there around 10 to 10:30 in the am. Just depends on how many times I take a break. I am having hip problems also, guess it comes with age. Hope you can make it.

If it's warm enough I'll plan on about 11:00. Seems like the cold really gets those particular joints fired up, usually some good meds takes the edge off.
