Anyone know where to get a pair of fishtail end caps for a Valk?   Are they even available?

Std/Tourer, not an I/S.

It's been a few years since I spent unimaginable hours searching for 4" tips. Along the way I saw some fishtail tips, but probably remains unlikely there are any to fit 4" cans. The primary market for those is of course HD and the like with generally 2-2.5" pipes. But I believe even some HD's have larger pipes. Google, time & patience are your friends. The problem is they're generally sold as bike specific and don't usually list an insert end size. Some research could resolve that issue.

I did eventually find these, in the pic, for $20.00/pr. once I had them & they fit I introduced them here to the board. Well, we all purchased the last remaining stock of a discontinued item.
There is however someone [a board member] who fabricates small batches of them from time to time. I can't remember who that was at the moment.
Try an "exhaust tips" in the old & recent board archives if your interested. Maybe someone will chime in with better info.

There are not many 4" tips out there. Good Luck

BTW if your pipes are stock it may be hard to find a tip to slip over the rear baffles. Most tips are inserts.

Thanks for the reply - I've already been googling and following links.  All have been dead ends so far.  The end caps I've seen so far have been for HD as you mentioned and there's a fishtail insert for Kerker out there as well.

I'll keep looking or maybe have to have something fabricated.

DFrag, Grumpy is the member you are thinking of. He makes the neat looking caps like you have. He is in Tampa & I think he sells them on E-bay also.

Yup. I got a pair from him via E-Bay. Very well made. His E-Bay handle is bgurney. This is one of his auctions:

Thought of another idea. If your exhaust is stock and you find some 4" fishtail inserts your probably going to want to position them a little further back. Whether to clear saddle bags or just for aesthetics.
Short can extensions from http://www.airflo.com/valkyrie.html will slip over your OEM rear baffle butting up to the OE can cover. Then any 4" insert type tip you find will work just about seamlessly.
Airflow will provide any length extension you need.
