Dealer is telling me Honda did not issue a tool kit with the F6B.  Does not sound right to me.  Can anyone answer this question.   This dealer has consistantly given me bad info. tickedoff

Only bikes sold to Canadians and New Zelanders must break down.  American F6B/Valkyries must be indestructible.

No tools issued with 2012 Goldwing and F6B . I told my dealer someone had got mine and he didn't realize Honda quit doing that so he ordered me a set and had them delivered to my house.

Mine came with an allen wrench... surprisingly, it took care of most everything!

No tool kits in the F6B in 'merica. Wasn't really an issue to me, but I can understand questioning why/

None came with mine either. When I asked the dealer about it he said he would give me one and then asked me how many times I used the one on my Valkyrie. My reply was never. Hopefully that will be the case with my F6B also.  cooldude

I have found the holder for the kit useful to hold  my Ipod.
And yes we all hope our new bike need the tools as much as our Valks did.

NO kit issued with mine, but really the kit and the tools while a nice trinket would do little to help on the road.

I bought a 2016 F6B new. No tool kit. I asked the dealer about it when I bought it. Nope, nada, none. I put a set of metric allens and a few other tools under the elastic band in the left saddle bag with the manual. Mounted a belt knife and sheath and a pistol holster in the same saddlebag. That, along with a tire plug kit and a compressor is my tool kit.

Just a thought to those that do not really have tools and yet want a decent tool kit. There are alot of used tools around that are really cheap and quality tools.

My 1988 BMW R100GS came with the most complete toolkit of any motorcycle I've owned .  It also included a tire repair kit with CO2 cartridges and a battery charger.

I was nervous about having no tools at all with my F6B, so I bought a nice set at a motorcycle accessory place.  I've only opened it up on the road once, when I wanted to tighten up one of the nuts holding the belly pan in place.  The kit had loads of tools, but not the one I needed, a 10 MM socket.  I ended up borrowing one at an auto parts store.

IMHO think modern auto.....The allen wrench to get to fuel cap in case of cable failure, what is needed to change battery, portable air pump/compressor,tire plugs with tools to use. Everything else is going to most likely need a tow .........
