Sorry I don't. You may also want to try RareElectrical.com. They have Valkyrie alternators for around $150-$160. http://rareelectrical.ecomm-search.com/search?SearchTerm=valkyrie+alternator

They also have Goldwing alternators - they're easy to reclock. They're around $130:

With free shipping.

yes I got the 85 amp. Couldn't tell any difference from the stock one that came out. I would imagine internally there are differences (more windings ?) but as far as everything else they are identical.

Did you do any other upgrades? Like the charge wire?
Fred.

Nope, just pulled out the old one and put in the new one. Think of it as putting a higher output alt. on your truck. The cables are pretty stout and able to carry a lot of amps. Plus I think it only carries large amperage if you are using large amperage. (But I'm definitely no electrical expert). Also I think there is probably not much need for a 85 amp unit. I just figured the extra price was so minimal it was worth the upgrade.

I also installed the 85 AMP LActrical Alternator last spring.  I didn't put too many miles (~1,000) on it because I picked up a new F6B and my Valkyrie IS started leaking oil.  Be careful when installing the new alternator not to cut the large O-Ring.  When I reinstalled the alternator in the Fall with a new OEM O-Ring my leak stopped.

I ordered one today.
I understand that even at an idle, it puts out a charge...which is a big reason for going with this one. I run funeral escorts and while stopped at intersections, there are strobes, lights and the additional 50 watt motolights running, not to mention the radiator fan also. It just seems like a better option to have the 85 amp vs 40 amp stock unit.
Now... to wait a week for delivery.

I'm not sure how much it charges at idle. I don't have an accurate voltage gauge on my bike just a cheapo led light that goes from red to yellow to green. At idle it is always red. At about 1200 RPM's it goes yellow and at 1500 green. Never had a problem but like Mr. Whiskey said a while back "I don't idle well" Grin

I haven't noticed my 85 AMP Alternator charging at idle with my Voltage Meter.

It looks like the 85 amp isn't available anymore.

I found the 85 amp LActrical alternator on amazon and have ordered it on Tue.

Perhaps I was reading on the 100amp Goldwing alt that shows a charge at idle???  Roll Eyes
O-well, guess I'll find out in a few days!

Cheers !
