My friend at work has a VTX 1800 and suddenly came down with a bad case of the flu. We work nights and the temp drops below 40 deg by the time we leave for home. He was feverish and had the chills so I traded bikes with him so he could wear my heated vest and gloves. I will say the Valk had it beat hands down. The VTX has straight pipes and is LOUD. It handled poorly and the power band was narrow. He told me he had never ever rode a better bike. He is VERY impressed with the Valk handling and smooth power. Comfy warm gear sure made him feel better. He said "trade?" I said hell no!
