I think the secret is out now, but for those who don't know.... Attic Rat (Bob) will make your valkyrie haul ass and get pretty decent fuel mileage (not for free mind you).
I typically ride with a motley crew of bikes and mine has always been the quickest with the exception of the sport bikes. My buddy got tired of me pulling away at will from his 96" road glide and spent big $$ to make it run. Well, I saw the dyno run and it made 115 horsepower and 123 ft-lbs. Needless to say I was a bit nervous for the next time we ran them-those are pretty impressive numbers. I don't know what h.p. mine makes but was enough to greatly upset my buddy. It's a drivers race but I got him outta the hole both times we ran them and he couldn't catch up. Really their pretty even overall until around 115 m.p.h. and then I started walking away . I think his glide is slightly heavier than the valk but I'm more than slightly heavier than my buddy so thats a wash I think.

Thank you ATTIC RAT! Best money I ever spent.... Now about those cams....  Smiley

Oh yes. Believe me, when i saw those turbo posts awhile
back I started saving my pennies and softening up the wife. I was planning to go a nitrous route. I even relocated my battery under my swing arm so i could hide a 5 lb. Bottle under the seat. However, a turbo is just more bad ass and available full time.  Evil

So what is Attic Rat doing and how much is this costing to get this additional HP?

Its a total top end package he does. On mine he ported/polished/milled the heads. Notched the pistons to maintain clearance. Put in the 49 state cams (I have a cali bike), polished the intakes and jetted/snyc the carbs and install interstate springs. New timing belts, etc etc. I think paid a little over 2g but have never regretted it for one second. It runs butter smooth and hauls. He's here on the board sometimes, i'd pm him for more info. .

Thanks for the kind words Matt glad you are enjoying you bike with the add HP. Dustin and I have been talking about making a Valkyrie with my performance work and his turbo. He are still in the planning stages but we are working on it. Now that will be on bad Valkyrie.

Mooserider, pls do the same to a 2014 valk. When I did it I just got flack from the board. Have the Attic Rat package plus 6 into 2 carbon fiber 2 bros exhaust. No dyno results, but a lot of great HDs and valks in the rear view mirror

What's this about cams? Can you do aftermarket? What would be the return?

On a stock bike the cams do not show much improvement. The bang for the buck is not worth it. Say your money

The really great thing about Attic Rat's work is that it keeps everything reliable and it's all internal. No one can see what you have going for you and it's stays reliable!! He takes a week for that $2k job.

I am saving up to go pay Attic Rat a visit. Thanks for taking my call Bob. I'll give you a heads up before I plan the trip up from Houston.
