I can't tell exactly from the p/n, does anyone know if the 1500 Wing rebuild kit for the rear master cyl. will work on the Valkyrie rear master cylinder? I'm mostly concerned with the guts fitting. Seems I saw somewhere the innards were the same, just the boot and rod in front were different. At least that's what I remember and I don't depend on that very often anymore.  Grin

My problem is I'm cheap! I already have a kit for a GL1200 which also fits the 1500 Wing rear m/c. I don't want to buy another kit if the one I have won't fit a Valkyrie rear m/c. Physically they look to be about the same externally....the Valk and later Wing.

I plan to make a run over to J&P Cycles in Daytona soon, just not during Trailer Week. J&P has a good collection of brake lines, fittings, etc., and you can pretty much put together any system. Plus it makes a nice ride over & back and I get to stop in one of my favorite little restaurants on the water for lunch.

Re. Trailer Week, I find it amusing. You can ride through the parking lot of hotels/motels that are 50-60 miles away and they're loaded with trailers. The real kicker....some have Florida plates on them, others from Georgia, Alabama.....you get the picture. They're within a day's ride and still trailer their bike. I can understand some doing it if they have a physical problem, right now I'd have trouble making a 500 mile ride in a day but I'd sure give it a shot.
