Finally got bike back from Des at Ultimate and got the saddlebags installed.
The seat sits me more forward, so the reach to the handlebars is corrected and the backrest is perfect.  Because of the lack of requests, for now Des decided to only recover the passenger seat to match, so no improvement there.  I also had him make a cover for the OEM passenger backrest.

That's a nice looking seat... two piece, right? I'm jealous of that!

I'm glad you posted today... could you measure the little bracket that connects
the bags together under the license plate? I think they sent me the
wrong one...

Hmmm... well if yours fits, mine must... even the screws they sent me won't screw in, and
they're different from yours (yours are bolts)...

Thanks for giving me the confidence to mash that bracket up
in there, all is well. Bringing it in from a certain angle (hard
to describe) made the difference. There must be paint
or something down in the screw holes, clogging up the
threads. I used some bolts that start with a better taper
than the screws that Corbin sent, and they went in.

Thanks!

Good lookin rig Michael.

Can see who is the money bags.   LOL.

I'm just going to stick with MGM and the Chevy Trike for now.

Daughter went to Wells Fargo for a loan to buy her house.

They approved her in a split second.

Then the catcher took ahold.

They forgot to tell her she'd have to come up with $53K for the down payment after she had signed all the papers and cancelled the lease on her rented Town House.

So the Harley stock I bought about 6 years ago for 10 Grand, ended up covering that.   Sold it all, and had a Capital Gain of $37,000 for the 6 years.

Took a scare on the Income Tax, but, it worked out for the best.

Your bike looks awesome! To bad Des has decided that sales of the new Valk are to low to put it into production. He told me that he will reconsider next spring.

Well, I guess I'm going to have to look at Corbin.

Has anyone talked to Russell? I'm sure it would require a co-signer but knowing what the Russell is like when two up on my interstates would make me jump.  Unfortunate that ultimate backed off.
