Will a rear brake caliper for a 99 valk std fit a 97 valk std? The part numbers are different but they sure look the same on the schematics. Any help is much appreciated.  Smiley

I think I've found the answer. According to Service Honda the part numbers are the same, 43150-MZO-006. Honda Direct and Partzilla showed a different number for the 99 caliper.?

Interstate rear calipers are different from Tourer/STD calipers. All front calipers
are the same. Years don't matter on Tourer/STD calipers.

Thanks hupcapsc!  cooldude Nice to have the input. I noticed that the IS rear caliper was different from the std/tour caliper too. It also appears that the rear IS part is now obsolete.

I think the rear calipers are the same.  The IS rear caliper mounting brackets and discs differ from other models depending on year.

EDIT: Except, I think IS rear calipers are black instead of aluminum colored.

I think I'm recollecting correctly.

The Interstate calipers have smaller pistons. I've never tried to use an Interstate
caliper on a Tourer, but they are different...
