That is neat, definitely a great improvement in the ride.  cooldude

Life is like a hot bath. It feels good while you’re in it, but the longer you stay in, the more wrinkled you get.

Saw that about a month ago. Pretty darned nice.
When I was with Volvo Penta and over in Sweden at the Engineering center we were shown the endurance boats and how they were set up. The boats were built solely to test advanced propulsion systems.
Those boats, around 50' and all aluminum, have the complete walk-in control center on a multi-axis  air-ride system completely divorced from the hull. Fully climate controlled as well since they run the very-very cold and rough North Atlantic.
A buddy of mine down your way bought an old Coast Guard boat and set up his control chair on an air ride system as well along with shift and throttles at the fingertips on the chair arms. You may know him as he used to own Charlie's Outboard in Avon park.
He also just bought a GL1200 and stretched it 7". Guy is pretty amazing when he gets bored.
