Has anyone ever had any of the radiator hoses go bad (other than tightening of clamps)? If so, which ones?

I am thinking about replacing them as the bike is now 15 years old  with 45K (2000 Valk Interstate).
Age is the main reason. Thanks for any input.

I replaced mine at 10 years and 50K miles, but only because I was taking a 30 ride to Alaska. I saw nothing wrong with the ones I removed. It was just "recreational" maintenance.

I had to replace the lower one because when I installed a new water pump the hose split getting it back on. this was somewhere around 100,000 miles.

I had a coolant leak that turned out to be the 'O' ring(s) where the piping attaches to the thermostat (#'s 11 & 12 in the pic below).  While in there to fix that, I replaced the upper & lower hoses, thermostat (new gasket here too, #2 in the pic), and the '0' rings.

These hoses seem to last forever, but if they don't, the usual culprit is the squeezed rubber right under the clamps.
