Would like input on the J&M headsets that they now offer for the half helmets. They zip in and appear to be a really nice set up. I was wanting to try one and see if wind noise was an issue. Anyone here tried these yet?  If so how do you like it? TIA

I have two... the J&M do not zip in, they have three very large tabs with velcro material on them. The tabs slide in between the shell and the foam part of the helmet. They go in tight and have not been a problem... this is the first year for them.

As far a wind noise, etc.; they don't seem any different then the J&M headsets I have in 3/4 helmets with shields. I can hear my wife fine on her CB while both of us are wearing the 1/2 helmet headsets.

The only thing that I noticed, and it is not that big of a deal, wind is channeled between the ear flap (which contains the speakers) and your ear. It doesn't cause any sound problems, but at highway speeds, after a good distance, it becomes slightly bothersome. But, then again, when we run long days on the super-slabs, we wear our 3/4 helmets. Most of the 1/2 helmet riding is done at slower speeds on the scenic rides, etc.
