hey everyone.  i'm gonna be adding deuce risers to my tourer.  i know i could just route the cables behing the tree, but it's about due for new cables anyway.  i've looked at directlineparts.com and hellrisercustoms.com , but all i've seen is stock length.  where are you guys ordering your longer cables from.  i don't care if they're stainless or not.  i'm looking at probably 2" longer.

The easy way..call HDL and tell them you want the cables and lines for your bike +2" or  whatever length you want.  They should be able to special order them from the manufacturer to your specs.  Keep in mind it usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to make the custom length lines and cables and there will be a shipping delay from the middleman (HDL)  getting them to your doorstep.

More work on your part...check the websites for Galfer, barnett, or Motion Pro, find the style lines you want and order them to your +2" length.  This is how I went with the Rocket (everything + 2 inches) and the Raider (everything + 4 inches) that I have replaced with custom cables this year.

Had a bad experience with Goodridge and won't recommend them or do business with them in any shape or form ever again.  Took 3 months, many phone calls, and e-mails to resolve a clutch line problem (made wrong) on their part.  There are too many other choices to put up with lousy customer service and disrespect.  YMMV

Have to agree on the Goodridge thing.  Ordered a break line and their fitting (the part that looks like the eye from a hook and eye lock was VISIBLEY scuffed and no crushwasher would fill the gaps so it leaked.  Had to send it back at my own expense and then wait a little more than 3 weeks for the second one, which they shipped without a new set of crush washers.
