Need some info for earbuds. This is just an example because I don't know the proper name for what I'm wanting.

Lets say I have 2 sets of earbuds. Does an A/B switch exist that I can plug in both sets (A/B) with a input and switch
back and forth to use either set of buds?

Yes / no
Helmet earbuds and an a/b switch.

Now the rest of the story. Wasn't sure how to ask and since then know what I want to ask. I have in my right saddlebag a Mp3 player and a amp. Have 2 speakers on my handlebars that feed into a Honda CB. This allows me to adjust the volume with my left thumb.

Recently I installed an Clearview windshield that's 2 inches shorter than stock. I like the shorter shield but now my music can't be heard above 45 mph. I don't want to crank it loud enough to hear it so I tried earbuds and that works. I leave town I want to just hit a switch and go to the buds and turn off the speakers.

Mine is a 98 CT. Here is the Clarion unit (CB, Intercom) I'm playing through using the volume control. Right now I have the speaker line pulled out ontop of the left side cover. I can unplug that and plug in my earbuds standing next to the seat I just wanted a switch to flip when I get down to 45mph or over 45.

Yes and no...

Probably not a pre-made option but easy to make on your own..

Keeping a common ground, a simple double pole double throw switch will work.

Does that mean cutting the speaker and earbud wires for the switch ? I didn't want to cut them.

I would suggest a small plastic project box, the switch, and 3 1/8th inch jacks..  Make it all pluggable, temporary and removable.

Box (check sizing!!!):

Switch:

Female jack:

Males plugs if you decide to make new cables:
