I have been reading this board for a while now, and is a big part of the reason I bought my valkyrie. "Old geezer" Richard helped me find her, so this is my opportunity to say thank you. I look forward to meeting some of you and putting some miles in.

The bike I bought is a 97 purple and cream std. Have put about 2000 miles in the almost 2 months I've had it. Absolutely LOVE it.

Any one on here in the San Angelo area?

Welcome to the Menagerie! Are you coming to the Gathering Of The Fools (GOTF)? You will meet many Valkyrie riders from all over the US if you do. It's a great time and great BBQ with a bunch of great people!

Be looking for the Texas Hill Country Ride in October.  It meets mid October at Fredericksburg.

Welcome aboard!    cooldude

My wife has family in San Angelo and we try to make the yearly family reunion held on Lake Nasworthy over at the Pecan Creek Pavilion.  This year it will be held June 19th - 21st.  Not sure we'll be able to make it this time because we'll be getting home early on the 20th from an out of state baseball tourney.  (By "early" I mean 1:00 AM kind of early.)  We'll see if we're up for the drive that Saturday morning!

You may recognize where this photo was taken…

(I took this pic a few years ago.)

Safe Winds!

Must be a good weekend for reunions, my family has ours the same weekend. We have ours in Ingram texas at a ranch down there. I can't remember the name of it but it is always lot of fun.  I do know the picture, there are some good little places like that to ride and take some decent pictures for being more west Texas.  Nice bike by the way. Thanks for the reply
