Has anyone tried to add dyna beads to the patchboy 90 degree stems ?
Even if it is a slow process I don't mind.
My thinking is as long as the beads will fit the stem, I don't mind adding a few at a time and blowing compressed air into the stem to get them into the rim.
I never used Dyna beads and would like to try them. I wish I did this before mounting my tires on the wing last weekend though.

I used a dremel tool, with the shaft turning against the side of the stem. By adjusting the pressure on the spinning shaft, you can find a vibratory resonance that will get the little guys to flow down a tube into the stem.

I used a screwdriver to tap the valve stem while slowly pouring the beads in. Dag posted a video about this.

I did it also, and have to say, i found the engraving tool better. Whatever i did, the dremel tried to melt the plastic hose....

All I did was have the stem at either "4:30" or "7:30" so both legs were downhill, stab the clear tube, and tap, tap, tap with my fingernail. Worked just fine.

I used a remmington electric shaver no blades of course. I found that putting it on the plastic fill tube with the correct pressure, worked faster than on the stem.

Same results with mine!

Ok maybe I was not clear , I meant will they fit in the patchboy 90 degree stem ? I don't care if takes a week to get them in.
I never seen the size of the Dyna beads before.
sounds like it from the posts saying use a vibrator or similar tool
I knew I should have bought them before I mounted the tires grrr.
But will do when mount Valk tires in 8-10k miles I guess
I bought a Marc Parnes Balamcer but I can't get the front tire to be perfect. The rear is perfect.
So I figured a good time to try the beads.

Yup, they will fit. The beads have a diameter under 1 mm.

But, of course, you have to remove the core first. The beads will never pass the valve core.....

The beads will never pass the valve core..... or a tire pressure monitoring system sensor inside the wheel... Don't ask.
