41lbs of pressure worked fine then all of a sudden it down to 22lbs  3x's  with no sign of tread puncture
(used water and dishwasher soap to look for bubbles nothing on tread or sidewall) inspected the entire tire?

it has the rubber stems and i am wondering if something has worked loose with them?

any ideas?

Use the soapy solution to check also around the bead and at the valve, most especially at the valve.

Yeah, soap up the stem and then bend it over with your fingers. Chances are it leaks then.

is the black plastic support still there? or broken?  That would allow the valve stem to flex and leak.

if you have rubber OEM stems.  I had one leak down around the stem.  I put the metal 90 degree stems in from Patchboy.

What type of tire?? on my last set of OEM's I had the same thing...tried every trick I could think of, even pulled the rear and submersed it in a tub of water...nodda, was going to take the tire to change it out and running my hand over the rubber while wheeling it into the garage, I felt it...one one the wire bundles broke and worked it was thru the tire...must have hot something harder than I thought...anyway, took needle nose pliers and pulled out a wire strand about an inch long....checked the tire off the rim and about 50 of them were sticking out like a cactus....
