Out with the old...in with the wooohoooo!!!!

Why would Honda put those short mirrors on the new valk?  When I try to look out of them, all I can see is my arms.  I have to move my arm if I want to see what is behind me.  I ordered some BikeMaster Louver Spear Mirrors in black.  Hopefully, they will be better.

Wide bars help; when they're not so wide, the taller the guy, the taller the mirror stems need to be.

Anybody know the handlebar width on the F6B/C? (Valk is 33")

The F6C is 32" wide.  I thought my old Interstate had much wider bars but I guess not.

I got mirror extensions off eBay.

I bought new mirrors for my bike.  I bought these.

A little expensive but made really well and they look great on the bike.

Offer better view of the road than stock?

Shoulders don't come much wider than mine and I find the OEM's to be better than many bikes I've owned. The ones you bought look nice and good quality but they also look like about 1/2 the field of view that the OEM's offer. I think the stem extension option would offer a better rear view.

Here are some pictures with the mirrors on.  The mirror glass is not as tall as OE but they are just as wide.  I really like the look and the field of vision is more than good enough for me.  Also, I now no longer just look at my arms when I look in the mirrors.  They stick out about 2.5" further than the OE mirrors.

I wish the oem's had the outward reach like yours and yours look great. I do like the infinite adjustment on the oem's.

I just received a cheap set of OEM style mirrors off fleebay, They are Identical in mirror shape but 2 inch longer stems. The mirror heads are plastic but the stems are steel chrome, they extend in the same angle after the bend and toward mirror head. I just swapped out the stems, what a great improvement, I paid $22 for a pair shipped but there are better choices as low as $16, I may have chose the $22 because they are shipped from USA, not China. And I now have extra mirror heads, hope to never need to swap them.

Just do a fleebay search for Valkyrie mirrors or motorcycle mirrors.

I had some 2003 Suzuki Volusia mirrors that look just like the Valkyrie factory mirrors but stick out a bit further. Bolted up and look good!

Where did you get that backrest for the driver. I removed the rear seat but would love a backrest if it works with the oem seat

I had one like that for a while... a GREAT backrest. But it mounts
to the rear seat. Utopia...

Mike is right.  It is a Utopia backrest.  I bought one from a local guy and modified the bracket for the seat.  You can buy them from Utopia for $225, but I got that one for only $50.
