Going up to the 8th Annual Minnesota Ride in.....Left later than I had wanted.  By the time I had coffee and played with the critters, it was 7:30 before I left out with Traveler pointed north....

Headed diagnally across Louisiana on I-49 to Shreveport and then went north into Arkansas and Texarcana.

ROde 71 up through Arkansas - sure can't make any time on it - nice road but a little 2 lane all the way up through Arkansas.  It took me 6 hours to get through Arkansas.  Nice curves - keeps you awake.  REALLY NICE INTERSTATE BETWEEN FORT SMITH ARKANSAS AND FAYETTEVILLE ARKANSAS.  For a superslab, scenery was AWESOME!!!!!!

Then crossed over into Missouri.

Made it to Nevada, Missoouri for the evening.  A little rain but not bad.  Up here, there are small towns and not many of them had BOTH a restraunt and a hotel, so Nevada had both and I decided to light for the night.  670 miles with another 500 or so tomorrow.

Good winds so far!
