It's like, You can't hang a piece of steak in front of a hungry Lion and not expect him to bite.!!!!
Of course I am going to bite.  I saw it Tuesday night on CL, could not believe my eyes,  hardly slept,  I get home from work Wednesday night about 6:30 and the wife and I head over the 8 miles and fall in love again., who of us wouldn't, LOADED, CLEAN, , a wise man on here once told me to find one with the add ons done already as most chrome pieces are unavailable these days. (thanks Terry).
Look at her.. and boy was she smooth riding.
I take possession tomorrow at 10 a.m. , I will start a new thread.  01 Standard for sale soon.

Great catch for sure. Only thing I never cared for is that huge trunk rack, always preferred the smaller one that fits down closer to the lid. Make sure it has some large star washers under the feet, less chance of cracking the lid. I'd love to find a black one....for MY price.  Grin  Then all I'd have to do is swap all my stuff over so I didn't have to have it all repainted.

cooldude Very beautiful bike, my first choice was the Interstate when I started looking, sure would've been nice to find one like that when I was looking. No turning back now, I am very happy with my choice n have a lot of projects for it sitting in the garage. GREAT SCORE!!

Thanks for the congrats and I do apologize Farside and to some others who showed interest. It is one of those ya snooze ya looze deals for sure that is why I jumped on it. Thank goodness I am on good terms with Vystar.  No super Valk, although I love the look this is as much for my beautiful wife as it is for me. She is all for it and it is our first year anniversary present to ourselves . I sure have been bit bad and I believe I am satisfied now with my herd. That's what I thought last week too, until this I/S came along. I will get some more pics tomorrow, sunrise at the beach where we got married is first, some mimosas, maybe get a nap before getting the I/S back here.

I asked Sherry a few weeks ago if she wanted the trunk back on and was surprised to hear that she is much happier with the sissy bar saying the arms of the trunk were to high. She has a short upper body.  However that probably won't much matter soon.   Roll Eyes

The boss is ok with the possibility of an 1800fi and only owning one bike. So we need to do some test rides and see where it leads.

So what are you thinking? Goldwing, F6B, or new Valkyrie?
