I have two carbs that are leaking. I am ordering Redeye gasket kit and would like to replace all floats and float valves while everything is apart. Need inexpensive source for these parts.
Any info or suggestions are appreciated

I bought mine on Ebay. K&L Supply Float Needle 6pk 18-8955 for $22.20 with free shipping.

Thanks for the link indybobm..... good price on the float valves!

Does anyone know if the old floats are usually serviceable?

They're not adjustable and they're strong so they're practically indestructible. If they're not leaking and full of fuel they should be fine.

I agree but measure the float height as given in the service manual, as recall 12 to 13 mm. If the distance is out of spec, I'd replace that float. It also a great time to replace the float needles. FWIW   Smiley
