Luggage rack bars

What size are the square cross bars on the luggage rack?
Are they 5/8" or 1/2"
I'm looking at getting a flag pole but do not know what size to get.

If you're talking about the Honda product, mine looks like 7/16. I didn't use a caliper, but was careful with a ruler.

Thanks. I will go with the 1/2" flag pole set then.
I hate to order blindly but I have learned over the last year that somethings disappear and you can't find them again so buy it when you find it.

Close an adjustable wrench up till it meets and measure the gap and you'll know exactly.

If I had my bike here in Afghanistan I would.
I also can not remember if the surround bars are the same size as the cross bars.

I've got a Chrome Flag pole that came on my bike when I bought it and removed it. If you want it, Give me the mailing address and I'll send it to you. I'll even cover shipping !! Dave
