What the judge did was offensive and released a home invader out on probation, I would sue the state.

The 3-year-old was watching “SpongeBob SquarePants” when two thugs broke into their house and robbed them at gunpoint.


The judges comments are offensive and do not carry merit because the possibility that the little girl may not have been exposed to many black males. Just as a first contact with a dog that bites may cause kids to dislike dogs for the rest of their lives. If the normal interactions are not established and this is the first traumatic contact it can cause serious problems. Black, white or any color, prejudice can start just as easily from a black kid having a bad contact with a white. It further shows the judges ignorance and personal hate or lack of compassion, and lack of understanding and since in a position of authority released a home invader not based on the heinous act but on his own personal bias and ignorance. I would be hard pressed at 3 years old to understand the subtleties of race and as parents may not be able to lie or be politically correct when expressing a true seemingly biased fear. Again the judge should have considered this especially since his major was psychology.

Disbarred?  Are circuit court judges in Kentucky required to be members of the bar?  Are they elected or appointed.

He certainly displayed himself to be unworthy of the position.

All judges must be member of a Bar assn (licensed).

I have no idea if elected or appointed.

Judges can have personal feelings, but it is necessary they keep many of them to themselves.

This guy is a nitwit as a judge (in this case, nitwit is a legal term, not a personal attack   )

During the sentencing phase, allowing people (esp victims of crime) to express themselves freely and openly is a good thing; as victims, many have suffered greatly, and allowing an open forum in the courtroom setting is cathartic and cleansing to the soul.

A good and wise judge would have read the little girl's statement and felt sympathy and understanding of a simple emotional reaction to a traumatic event.

This nitwit immediately falls back on his knee jerk belief that anyone who blames all blacks for the crimes of some are bigots and wrong headed.  

A dog bit me once as a child, and for a while there I didn't trust any dogs.  Later I figured out that most dogs were good boys.... but some will still bite you.

Actually there is a chance he would be censured (reprimanded) by his judicial oversight commission.  Good black (and other) judges do not like nitwits making them all look bad.  No one has to make a complaint, this went viral, and they can act on their own.
