Locked in a mindset, I've been like this all day.
Thinking of my ride, that is now moments away.

I walk into my garage, how proudly she waits.
I stand and I stare, in the few moments I take.

Those beautiful lines and all the twinkling chrome.
I remember the day, I first brought her home.

I spent all day washing, till she was sparkling clean.
Then I stood back and look, what an awsome machine.

My very first ride, my heart pounded in my chest.
Palms sweaty, adrenlian pumping, the VRCC knows all the rest.

I rode up to a biker bar on my black and yellow Bumblebee.
I parked her right in the middle, of all the HD's.

I pulled off my gloves and I looked up to see.
A porch full of bikers, all looking at me.

I gave her a quick rev, then I shut her down.
I heard one of them say, There's a Dragon in town.

A big ole grin, came across my face.
I tried to hide it, as I walked into the place.

I had just got my beer and sat down outside.
When this big ole biker guy said, I like your ride.

I had just finished my beer and I looked over to see.
Four HD riders, around the Valkyrie.

We chatted for a while, they were really nice guys.
They even complimented on the bike, much to my surprise.

I left that place, on top of the world.
My Valk left an impression, That's my girl!

What is it about these great bikes that gets in your skin, i have rode alot of bikes. But there is something about the Valkyrie that just can't be beat. I love the way the motor sings to you as you are riding down the road. The little woman is looking at me right now and saying you are thinking about that bike again aren't you, lol.

I am with you ghostrider don’t know what it is about the valkyrie but there is something there.
I can remember when I first seen the valkyrie my comment was ( this looks like everything but a motorcycle) that stayed with me until I took a test ride on one the rest is history.  So I took my 2004 1800 gold wing and traded it on the Black and Chrome 99 interstate that I have now.  The only thing I can say about me is what a fool I was.  There is guy in are club that had a red and black interstate and he sold it after cashing is GW and brought a trike. And ever time we ride or see each other the thing he is how the big gal doing. Now I am the only one in the club with valk. And everyone stills stands around it talk.  I think they other people to think that it is there bike. LOL

Way cool!  It's difficult to express how the "fat lady" casts a spell on you.
You perty much said it all . . . all that needs to be said . . . and said very well.
And she still gets attention after all these years.
Still crazy about her. . . .
