Gee, I wonder where he gets all his campaign money?  Could it be the Insurance and Pharma industries?  By golly...http://www.opensecrets.org/politicians/industries.php?cycle=2010&cid=N00009668&type=I

So does where he got his campain money, make him any different from the others?  He is telling the honest truth about our goverment, and what they have done to the middle class. The middle class carries the burden, and it is getting worse.
Better yet, give me the same health plan he has, and at the same price......

I really found this blast from the past to be very timely and relevant... Wise words, spoken in 1961...

Senator Barack Obama

            Industry               Total  ↓                Indivs  ↓   PACs  ↓
Lawyers/Law Firms   $45,420,236   $45,414,863   $5,373

Receiving campaign money from corrupt judges ,lawyers is SOOOOOOO much better than being supported by  Dr's and scientists ?
We can fling "poo" back at your golden boy too! doesn't make things any more correct does it?

I stand corrected....Dr's and scientists contributed ONE thousand dollars less (26,500) than the Insurance companies that paid over 400 thousand dollars of my medical bill when the Obama supporter ,receiving government checks for being legally retarded and yet still possessing a drivers license, killed me and destroyed my VALK! I didnt see any Govt hand outs, but she did! all I got was brain damage and forced towards bankruptcy because her Government hand out cant be garnished! I still see her driving by with her Obama Biden bumper sticker  tickedoff

The disrespect this guy displays to the man asking the question is absolutely pathetic.  Moran????? More like Moron......  OH listen closely to what the narrator says......."They did not want to take on trial lawyers.  And the "proposed" bills were written by whom??????  LAWYERS...............
Now Question........Would Obama's being a "lawyer" and all his campaigns being financed  by lawyers skew his view??? Of course not.   2funny
Also, the insurance companies contribute to EVERYONE's campaign.  Therefore whoever wins,,,,,,,THEY WIN TOO.
All this mud slinging is doing is an attempt by Obama and Pelosi to divert people's attention by demonizing the opposition.  All 300,000,000 of them.
And for Obama and his cronies to say...."We underestimated the deficit by 2 Trillion dollars or more."  Yes, yes........Would it be safe to say.....Mr. Obama is underestimating the cost of this Obamanation called national healthcare????  Of course not......  2funny
Let a DEMOCRAT give you the low down on TORT reform and why it wont be addressed........
Oh yes......a couple of facts.  One.....IF a limit were put on malpractice suits.....the savings would be astronomical.  Malpractice insurance is one of the biggest expenses a medical provider faces.  Malpractice insurance is so high because of absolutely out of control judgements against providers.   Many suits are forced to be dropped because the "problem" the claimant is suing over RESOLVES before the parties go to trial.  Two ....MOST law suits against medical providers are frivilous.  The gamble is that the insurance will settle out of court.  Three....A large portion of malpractice suits are brought by private pays and Medicaid recipients.  People who DO NOT pay a thing for the service provided.  tickedoff

Oh and one.......REAL life situation from last week.

The anesthesiologist and CRNA put a woman to sleep.  She had "bad teeth".  The doc asked to examine the woman's front teeth.  All of her teeth were loose and decayed.
She was informed that her teeth were loose and decayed.  The blade of the laryngoscope MIGHT damage them when they put the tube in.  The doctor noted his conversation on the anesthesia record.
Her tooth was broken while trying to tube her.  After  she was awake enough, the anesthesiologist went into the recovery room and spoke with the lady.  He reminded her of their conversation before her surgery.  He informed her that one of her loose decayed teeth was broken.  She immediately stated demandingly, "You have to fix my tooth.  Medicaid wont pay for it."  The doc reminded her again that this was discussed before her surgery, and that this was a "risk" due to the poor condition of her mouth.  She understood the risk involved.
The next day, this lady called administration saying we "broke" her tooth.   Again the anesthesiologist took his valuable time to meet with administration with record in hand.  The hospital is NOT repairing her already rotten tooth.
This is NOT an isolated incident.  This happens all too frequent.  Again these people are trying to get not only healthcare for nothing but they are also trying to get a windfall.  This anesthesiologist did nothing wrong.   However this woman along with many others are expecting the "malpractice" insurance to fix her tooth....give her a little "pain and suffering" money......all because she wont brush her teeth??????  Does that seem fair to you???

Wanna fix healthcare......TORT reform will go a lot further than......"fraud and waste management".

I agree.....I worked in healthcare my whole career....last eight years in the hospital.  I saw a very few times the patient should have sued and sometimes did...(sometimes didnt) but lots of times they tried or did, when it was total BS

This administration doesnt care about the quality of the healthcare we get, as long as they get their fancy doctors and total control over their subjects

I watched an Interviewer ask Arlen Specter...."Would you be willing to be on the Health Care Plan you are pushing for?".....he hemmed and hawwed and sputtered and beat around the question without really answering yes.....and I think Nobama did too in an interview.....if it's good enough for "US", shouldn't it be "good enough" for the president and Congress too??.....It'd be refreshing to hear someone in Congress admit the truth..."NO, I wouldn't want to be on it, but then we are talking about the public here"......my Father-in-law said he thought someone in congress did admit to that a few days ago?.......

That is the easiest way to tell when a law is bad.

The politicos have excluded themselves before it was ever voted on.
