If I install these shocks on my tourer, what can I expect? smoother ride? harsher ride? better handling etc.?
Thanks for all of your responses.

If your tourer shocks are like mine you are likely to have a stiffer suspension, and better handling if your fork springs are in good shape. My IS is stiffer on it's softest setting than the Tourer is on the strongest. The softest setting won't handle two up.
Although they both have less than 20,000 miles, I think the Tourer shocks are about shot, so are the OEM fork springs. I weight 215.

Don't the Tourer and Interstate have the same shock?

I just swapped out my old worn out OEM std shocks on my 98 std. for some I/S shocks set at the highest setting along with some new Progressive front fork springs and she handles great ..... no more wobbles or shakes into the curves ....I'm impressed .....
