Don't know where to post this or who to ask.

Called today to make ground zero reservations. Hotel booked. They offered to put me on standby list @ $199.00 / night.

I have seen mention of back up hotel.

Please let me know what the backup is or other places to stay in Spearfish.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

The Hampton inn is the overflow and they are asking $145/night
There's a couple of campsites close by though. That's where I'm staying anyways.

Use the following link for reserving with the backup hotel.

I was able to reserve at the Quality Inn a couple days ago at $85/night.  Looks like it's right across the street from ground zero.

There are a few rooms available on a few days, but it's unlikely one would get a room for the whole time of InZane unless someone has just cancelled and that does happen as the event time approaches.  Hopefully the waiting list will take care of those cancellations.

I know when I called up on Sunday afternoon ground zero only had suites left, which was a bit extravagant for just myself!
