i am going to attempt to install the ccs 100 audiovox cruise tomorrow. i have the interstate modle and need advice from someone who has knowledge on where/how to install the vacuum container and the servo on an interstate.i understand that the tourer folks mount the servo in battery area but with the radio i donot believe that is an option on the interstate. i have heard the fairing is an option but not sure how to remove it and where i would route the cable from servo or vacuum lines from canister.email me at rwmbjm@gmail.com if any ideas.if you donot mine me calling include phone #.

My servo is mounted in the left hand pod, Works great if you do not have the factory driving lights there.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

On a friends I/S we mounted the vac tube under the airbox, as in the shop talk instructions. The servo unit is mounted in the fairing. With tank off and left side part of the inner fairing off, there is a little rubber flap, behind the handle bar risers. It will fit right up there. set your dip switches 1st tho. Then wrap the servo unit with something to make it not rattle. Like bubble wrap. If you need to re-adjust the switches later on, just remove one of the inner fairing pcs. Plenty of room in the fairing.  cooldude

I've done two I/S installations and mounted cannister and servo under fairing on the clutch side. I used some heavy duty wire ties to mount both units. Easy to get to and clean location.

I put both under the fairing.  I have other junk on the clutch side, so I put it on the right side.  Had to pull the inner speaker cover off to make it fit.  I might be able to dig our some photos if you need them.
