Just curious about the patch hoop-la this summer ..... I had ordered and requested two small generic patches and paid for them in advance thru a D/FW member and just wondering would they be ready ?

We're working on it.  I believe Dave has some, and is working on a group order for the rest currently.

I never sent anybody any money, but I did ask to be on the "order" list for patches.  Was I supposed to send somebody $$?
Don't recall seeing a post declaring that anything was ever finalized...still want that TEXAS patch, though!

F6 Rider Store has small and large generic patches in several different colors available now.  I just ordered a few so I can get a vest or light jacket started.

I didn't pay in advance either but I was under the impression that I was picking up two small DFW VRCC patches at the last monthly meeting.  I was there but the patches didn't make it...

Hang in there folks.  We're still working on it.  I was hoping to get everything lined up and make a big announcement, but until everything is resolved, here's a status report on the TX & DFW merchandise.

The F6Rider Store is a weekend job for its owners who all work full-time.  They have asked for our patience as they work through supplying the new demand.  The bad part is we all may have to wait a bit longer than we want to for some things.  The good news is they are responding to the new demand that, in most cases, appears to be coming from new VRCCers.  Long live the Vakyrie!

Since returning from InZane, the F6Rider Store and I have exchanged quite a few emails regarding how to meet the pent-up demand for TX & DFW patches.  Without lifting the curtain up all the way, I've extended my lead in the "questions asked" category several times during the last 2+ weeks.  The last info (answers to some of my questions) I received was on 18 August.  The good news is that they found a long-lost cache of DFW stuff (patches & flags) right before InZane and that the total quantity of patches should more than cover the current demand.  The bad news is we have not yet worked out the details for a new order of small TX patches OR how to get everything to Texas ASAP for distribution from here.  In order to simplify things for the F6Rider Store, I have volunteered to purchase 36 small TX patches up front, receive them, and handle their distribution at VRCC activities - good reason for folks to attend and great excuse for me to attend some other chapter meetings!  The DFW patch/flag details are less clear - all I can say at this point - but at least they do exist.

Regarding the few patches I bought and brought back from InZane, Godfire built a spreadsheet that lists who wants how many of each and notes that OLD GEEZER has pre-paid.  Good job, Godfire.  At the time of the last DFW meeting (Godfire was unable to attend), I did not realize that his spreadsheet was also in chronological order, so my desire to "fill the orders in the order in which they were taken" prevented their distribution.  Bad job, Dave.  We'll get this TX & DFW thing done as soon as possible.
