I just purchased Progressive 444 HD shocks for my 2000 standard. On OEM, bottom mount hole is smaller on one side. Prog looks the same size on both shocks???? Also I don't see any marks for setting spring preload. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA. Hef

I think they should have sent you a little bag of bushings, from which you
should choose one that makes the smaller side fit right.

I think there's no "marks", turn the top, it is, like, on threads, and
"infinitely" adjustable within the range...

The swingarm (right) side bottom bushing does need one of the included metal inserts to be pressed in for proper fit.

I just installed 444 13" HD's I pressed the smaller bushing on the one shock with a C Clamp. There were no adjusting marks, I used a strap wrench and turned each shock evenly (Enough)

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.
