that go through the fender. Turnsignals seemed a little loose, so I tried to tighten the 2 nuts on the inside of the fender. Of course, I twisted one off.  Angry Every parts fiche I see, I see the bolt, but there's no number. Do I need that part, or could I rig a regular bolt in there? Any help appreciated.

Are you referencing #23 on the diagram linked below?

I do not know if that bolt can be replaced. I have a complete spare unit if you have to replace it.

I'm having a really bad day. I mis-typed. It's NOT the taillight, it's the turn signal assembly. Duh!  laugh  Sorry for that!

That link won't open for me. It would be the stud/bolt that #29 goes on.

That's the license plate light assembly, if I'm looking at the diagram correctly...?

One of the studs which anchors it to the turn signal bracket - or are you referring to the two captive bolts on the turn signal bracket (#20) which pass through the fender?

Yes. Turn signal assembly. And yes, the bolts that go through the fender. #20 looks like a bracket to me?

The stud that broke off is welded to that bracket. It has a shoulder on it that prevents you from over tightening it in the rubber gasket/grommet that it is seated in .looks like a new bracket is the only way go.

Thanks anyway. I took it apart and rigged a bolt in there. Cut off the broken stud and drilled a hole. Thanks for the offer though!
