Toly, You can always get the sport touring and keep the Valk. You have tons of money now that you have the school running Looking for a connie or bmw?

Hey Goody - Rosie is saying hey right back atcha! Of course I will ride with you even if I sell my Valk. Honestly, I love it, it's a beast. But in a few years or even sooner it may start showing signs of old age and even now it is technologically ancient. I want a nimble and fast motorcycle with ABS, thought about a Goldwing but decided to give myself a few more decades though Oss - 2 bikes are not a good option right now unless I get something inexpensive and new. Testing a Concours 14 tomorrow. Already rode this year's K1300GT, love it! Connie is less expensive though... But the Beemer is just breathtakingly beautiful.

I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music.

I fell in love with the Connie 14. Can't beat the technology and the price! I'd be making the same move right now if the market didn't fall out from under the Valkyrie. This year has been a huge turnover of Valkyrie ownership. I've got more in mine than I paid for it and just can't give it away. Good luck and let us know what you think after the "Connie" test ride.

SOLD my gorgeous red Valk - switching to sport touring bikes, got myself a sweet brand new BMW K1300GT, also RED. Connie was overheating within the first 10 miles, other Jap bikes in that category didn't impress with their design or technology. Here's a final shot of my two BIG REDs before the Valk was given to a new Daddy. Byron Myers of NC, in his 60s, a US Marine (Ret) is the new proud owner. See him - say hello for me.

Congrats on the Beemer! My dad has a K1200LT, and my mom likes it when he lets her drag her knuckles . Totally different handling than the Valk, way easier to lay it way farther over! Have fun!

The 13GT is a wicked fast and nimble machine. Handles different compared to the Valk, I like it better, even though I did some crazy things on the Big Red too - not as crazy as Smokin' Joe but had my adrenaline rush...
Dave, I fully expect to come up and see you guys one of these days and will be participating in the future Valk ride-ins. Rosie has good winter gloves - and a heated seat on the GT. I also have heated handles. Va va VOOM!
