It's a 6 mile detour to get here but just about everytime I ride The Cherohala Skyline I ride out to check Bald River Falls out. I love that little skinny road that gets you to here with the Bald River running beside you all the way. Nice picture of my Interstate at Bald River Falls if I do say so myself

Made a stop in Robbinsville ,NC to talk with Miss Reba at The Phillips Motel about our upcoming ride..." The Fall Color Ride " I'll post more details about that later. Then it was on to Deal's Gap . When we came through The Dragon only one cop was working but we did pass another down near the lake. The Tree Of Shame is loaded this year

This belonged to a Pennsylvania rider we met at Deal's Gap. I like the way he followed the stock lines and still made it a custom paint job.I like the color combo also

Joe the light makes the green on the IS look black. That's why the pick looks so good. Great pic of the falls. I could hear the roar of the water.

Bald River Falls. Great picture Joe. Was that one of the falls that was all dried up for the FCR back in 07? Looks much better with water running.

Next time you cross the border give me a shout. The Interstate ride's and runs great but I don't need 3 Valkyries . I've not rode it since The Blue / Gray Ride and thought I'd better stir the oil in it We ride every weekend Paul you know you are welcome anytime you can make it

Yeah it was beautiful ( The Falls and the Interstate ) and the traffic was'nt bad at all the whole ride. Got to watch Lucky 13 push some crotch rockets through The Cherohala Skyline We'll see you next weekend at Flask's fish fry in North Carolina.

Other than Lucky 13 who lives about 2 miles from me you are more than likely the next closest Valkyrie owner yet I've never met or had the pleasure of sharin' the wind with you ....What's up with that ? We ride every weekend year around and have went so far as to get caught out in a snow strom on Mt. Rogers in Va. If you can make a ride come join us

I'm pretty sure you've been here with us Thom but we did'nt ride to Bald River Falls on " The Fall Color Ride " in 2007 but we have rode out to it on one of the other years ( I can't remember the year ) . I saw your name on Miss Reba's book yesterday at The Phillips Motel .....Trust me when I say this " The Fall Color Ride " would'nt be the same without you See you at the CBR Ride in a few weeks my friend.Maybe we can hook-up again for the ride into Robbinsville this Oct ?

To be honest I can't count the times I've rode to Bald River Falls but I've never went to the top....Now I'll have to check it out I'll tell you another place I can't count the times I've rode by it " The Devils Court House " on The Blue Ridge Parkway and never walked to the top...I'm going to do that also soon

Should be able to make it over to Tennessee Thursday evening for us to meet up again. See you at CBR and don't forget them fancy rain boots.
