A few friends and I took an early morning ride to Gila Bend to dine at the "Satellite Diner on Sunday.
Here's what I saw.

Man-servant of QOTFU

QOTFU's ghost ride to Jefferson Texas was this weekend.  We had a great time.  We had six bikes pulling out of Sugar Land at 5:30 am Saturday.  We picked up seven more bikes in Kingwood.  One joined along the way.  We didn't get an accurate count of how many met us in Jefferson, but the hotel said over 30 rooms were reserved for QOTFU's group.

We had ten bikes return with us this morning.  We rode the north shore of Lake O' the Pines (one bike veered off for Dallas) and then meandered southwest through Crockett National Forest before drifting back east to pick up Hwy 59 at Livingston (two bikes left at 105 toward Conroe, and one dropped out at Kingwood) and bee-lining home through Houston with the final six.

The weather was amazing.  Cool with a light breeze.  Didn't get particularly warm until the last 2 hours coming in on 59.

So let me see if I got this right.  We don't have movies of the Colorado trip, but we have movies of Gila Bend.  We have to talk.
