Solo ride as the wife had to work and no other Valks just me today.   I took some pics with the black trim now on the bike.

That does look nice!

I've been worried about sun reflection on the gas tank trim/door.

I cannot believe how soft the black plastic is on the tank cover.  I have a leather key ring tag and it has scuffed up the tank cover.  I tried to buff it out only to put more scuff and scratches in it. tickedoff  For what they charge for these pieces they should be a hell of a lot better quality.  Really disappointed in Honda.  The paint is not much better as well. Embarrassed

I never use a key ring/fob on any bike I ever owned, any leather, plastic or metal flapping in the breeze will leave a mark on any surface. Look at any car ignition key area, there's always a mark from a key ring swinging back and forth...except mine... Smiley

Looks great thanks for the pictures.

I'm thinking of painting the gauge surround satin black, tired of being blinded by the suns reflection.
It does look good chrome but IMO not a good idea.

Same paint as the "full" Goldwing & the F6B.  Run a Google/Yahoo/Bing search on Goldwing Paint Issues.... LOTS of stuff will pop up.

Bottom Line... the paint Honda uses is crap.   tickedoff

But... my only other option was a Harley.  And I'm a fan of cylinders.  And we all know 6 beats 2.   coolsmiley
