Hello everyone....I have a 2014 Valk and am thinking about adding floorboards because I have size 13's.  I'm even willing to do the mini-boards because they have to be better than the pegs, and can be adjusted down a little, (Im 6'2").  Do full size floorboards fit for rider (and passenger)?

What are you guys running for rider/passenger?

Thanks, much appreciated.   cooldude

The floorboard setups will require a heal toe shifter and a brake pedal to work with the length of the board, they are usually an expensive kit. For me the boards need to be more forward but the engine does not allow that. I also find having the heal shift peg in any cruiser setup gets in the way of fore and aft foot movement. I have always found the wide Goldwing pegs to be perfect for me, I have bought at least 2 used Wings with floorboards/heal,toe setups, They had to come off immediately for me to ride in comfort, but many love them. Any GL1800 floorboard kit should work but you may want to find a Wing with that stuff on it to sit on before buying. Its possible my size 12's dictate my dislike so with 13's better be careful. On the other hand you can always sell them if you don't like, there are usually used sets on ebay.

I'm 6'0" and wear a size 12 with spurs.  I have the Kuryakyn floorboard setup.  It's fabulous. I hated the factory pegs and the boards make it like it should be.

Thanks for the replies.  So do all floorboards require a heel/toe shifter setup?  And are the wide Goldwing pegs something that I can buy aftermarket?   cooldude

Sorry to cornfuse, you have wide Goldwing pegs, most bikes have round pegs.

The Kuryakyn set does for sure.  The boards go up to the tip of the shifter so without the hell/toe shifter it would be impossible to use the factory shifter.

I just bought the 2014 Valkyrie. I have installed the following:

Floor boards w/heel toe shifter: Kuryakyn Model 4038....................$387.00
Hiway pegs: Kuryakyn Ergo ll Cruise Mounts....you probably need less extension because you're tall
$176.00
When you instal the floorboards, your side stand gets burried so I purchased a Kuryakyn kickstand extesion #7109    $35.00 or so

All from West End Motorsports
All came within 2-3 days

I bought my Kuryakyn set of Ebay used for $250 so that might be a good place to look too.
