Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

Did the truck stacks this spring. Love the looks. But my left side is working its way out/off. While going out to sturgis it had worked its way off about 3/8" or so. Chunk of wood and a hammer with 3 hits put it back in place. Now after weekend trip to indy its open about 3/16". What could I do to keep it on? I thought about running a screw into the bottm or backside of it. The right pipe is still looking good. Anyone else run into this problem?  Evil

I have the same problem with mine, also on the left side only. I usually have to give it a tap every couple months with a rubber mallet. It hasn't bothered me enough to try an find a "fix".

I would "think" that running a good quality stainless screw up threw and into the muffler from the bottom would hold it for working loose.... but that is my best guess.  If not that, maybe a punch  to the bottom of the pipe to help pinch it on?

I used some 4" stainless steel band clamps that I got from the Truck Chrome Shop here in Dallas.  Classic Chrome Plus /www.classicchromeplus.com
Hope this helps,

Should be available in stainless made by Donaldson from most any truck shop - big truck parts are usually quite cheap as there are so many of them made and they are fairly generic.
