Our dams are like sidewalk curbs compared to the Hoover dam. At least Oss' little
dam has some architectural flavor...



We do have occasion to build stuff though:



The two old bridges are gone now, the new one is fun to ride the Valkyrie over 

The oldest bridge (the one on the right) was finished in 1929. When I was a young dude, it was exciting to
drive the 1970 galaxie over the old bridge at night... plenty of room for a couple of jalopies to chug past
one another going opposite directions, not so much room for cars (and trucks ) going at 1980 speeds...

I have ridden across all 3 Cooper River bridges. I liked the old ones.
