Has anyone ever adapted a single automotive carburetor onto one, without the blower?  ???  If so results?

Interesting Bons, And I see looking at the pictue in Daro post of his..I didnt realize how big that casting actually is....hmmm... oh well just thinkin......

I've never heard of it being done on a Valkyrie but many have adapted single carbs to four cylinder wings and I've have read of the many struggles to try to get them to run right afterwards. It seems to me that I remember someone doing it years ago. There was certainly quite a bit of talk about it, but, it sure didn't go anywhere.
I think a lot of the reason for buying one of these monsters are those 6 little fuel mixers sitting right there for all to see. It certainly was for me. And it turns out that Honda got them right, they are pretty bullet-proof.

There was a post about changing the GW GL1500 to an EFI bike.

I believe it was on Steve Saunders site. Just did a quick look, and also found a carb job too. A lot of reading if you want to.
