I want blacked out pipes as well, but the muffler on the valk sounds so good that I think this winter I will get the covers on the pipes powder coated black.

Did you look on www.wingstuff.com ? They are listed for F6A and B, But, I believe the frames are the same as F6C, I mounted a center stand and replaced the chrome cover at beginning of the muffler with an indented cover off an 03 Wing to accommodate the center stand. If the muffler mount tab is in the same location on all 3 frames the 2 Brothers should fit all 3 versions. If someone here has both models or access to both the question would be answered.

I stumbled across this and passed it on for the hi performance crowd, I like quite, I like chrome and find no need to improve on performance, but that's just me...

If F6B and Goldwing exhausts fit the Valkyrie then we'd all have aftermarket exhausts.  The Valkyrie is unfortunately different.........

I'm not sure about other mounting issues, but it's a length issue. Valkyrie pipes shorter than Wing pipes.

I've been trying to find a set of Goldwing pipes to mock up and get a rock solid comparison to Valkyrie pipes but everyone acts like stock useless Wing pipes are made of gold.  People want way too much for a stock pipe they'll never put back on their bike so I never could find one.  I'm not paying anything for scrap metal so I guess I'll never know.......

If length really is the only issue then I'll buy a set of Cobra pipes, cut the ends off, remount the baffles, and be down the road.  Based on the Cobra install we've seen though length isn't the real problem

The mounting bolt hole tab looks like it is more forward on the Valk muffler but that can be fixed with a length of 1" wide 1/8 thick flat stock. A pic of 2 brothers on their web site doesn't even show a mounting tab on the muffler, maybe they use a P clamp, if so that would be able to move to any position. I think an interested rider should call 2 bros. I don't think a 6-8" longer muff would look that bad.

I had cobra f6b pipes modified for my f6c and it's one hell of a cut and weld issue.  I can send photos of this unbelievable process if anyone wants to tackle this one.

How far did they stick out beyond the fender before you chopped them? Did you have to relocate the mount tab or did that pipe use a P clamp? I'm just curious, I like quite pipes.

I'd have liked to have seen some pics of the pipes mocked up before the operation.  Thats the big question no one seems to know.  How a F6B set fits compared to oem pipes.

I've called Two Brothers Racing a few weeks ago, and they pretty much said that they would make them, but after the race season. They alluded to September.  Cry  People over at the F6C Forum are waiting for the Delkevic and Torq Loops. Supposedly they will have something in July.  cooldude

The problem with the Delkevics to me, is they look like a sportbike muffler you rigged onto the bike.  They just don't look like they belong. I'm not referring to the F6C forum member who already rigged his up, just all their mufflers look exactly like early 2000's sportbike mufflers.

I can wait until September or later for Two Brothers.  Especially since it's not like Power Commander will have a map for them.  So really, kind of pointless unless you live close to a trusted Goldwing tuner....... which I don't.
