Can anybody who has done a carb rebuild comment on this line?
The Viton line comes with a clear plastic smaller od insert, slightly shorter than the viton line.

I'm about ready to test these carbs, and don't know if the clear line is supposed to stay in place once installed (to maybe act as an anti-kink device), or if it was included only for shipping, as an anti-kink device, and is supposed to be removed at install.

Unfortunately, the directions do not mention the line, and when I called Rich Byrne, all I got was a voice mail.

Would like to get this resolved before I power it up...

I believe that you have it right: It's an anti-kink device. It stays in place inside the larger hose.
