The seller is sure to be our own Jim "Stretch" Miller. He could sell a donut hole to a headless person and charge extra for a straw! Delores will likely answer the phone at that number in the ads.

     fair market value
     n.
The price, as of a commodity or service, at which both buyers and sellers agree to do business.

Most other definitions include that neither the buyer nor seller are under any pressure to buy or sell.

Bottom line: If you think something is priced too high, offer less, or don't buy.  It might be worth more to someone else.

I didn't say nobody would pay it, I just said overpriced in MY opinion. It wasn't meant in any way as a derogatory statement, just that I have seen better deals. Again in MY opinion.

Nobody has their panties in a wad, Chris. Heck, I can not even tell you how long it has been since I have seen a pair - of panties! Those that know Jim know he is a trader. He and Delores were at our last monthly meeting and I asked him how many Valks he has owned. I think it was in the teens? His most famous quote..."I'll never sell Pumpkin". How long has Doc had that bike now? And how many Valks back was that?

If there is something he has for sale you think you might want, make him an offer. Fact: 10 percent of buyers will pay the asking price. In this case, ninety percent probably don't want to support Jim to the point he is eating steak every night. Be careful - he may give you the shirt of his back if he knows you are a Valkcoholic. You are a Valkcoholic, Chris. That is a good thang for us all! ~Jeff

OKEE DOKEE, just thought someone was taking offense at my statement that it was overpriced, and I wanted to be sure everyone knew no offense was intended.

HEY DOC, I got 20k just burning a hole in my pocket, you sure you don't want to get rid of that bike lol

I'll take my I/S to Earl Schwab's and get it painted Orange and Black for you.  Will the 20K be in small bills?
