Thank you Big Bill for fixing the issue with my bike. I had guessed it was the petcock in some way, as the previous owner suspected teh "flat cylinder" was #6. I had checked to insure the vacuum line wasn't leaking, but never suspected the perforated diaphragm would leak that much air!

Thank you also for synching  up the carbs.

I want everyone to know I will give Big Bill a good reference should you ask.

Thanks again Bill! It was good to have met you at Inzane XV! I would hope to see you both again.

BigBF is top notch, and he saved my arse at Inzane by having and installing front bearings for my 97 Tourer.  I'm sure glad I didn't have to address that without his on-site service.  The VRCC is mighty lucky to have Bill, as both a vendor and a member!   cooldude

Bill has saved my bacon on more than one occasion

Before I started my big trip last year I had asked him if I could ship a bridgestone exedra 200-16 rear
tire to him (great tire but it picked up several holes from crap in the road- one of which he plugged for me at IZ 2014) and he not only did the rear tire and spline stuff when I got there but he also replaced
a dying rear bearing, synched the carbs
which really helped my mileage and a bunch of other stuff including petcock

He worked all night to get it done so I could get to Tucson the next evening

Quality work from a man who really knows his stuff/ wish I had him put on his quad horns while I was there as I lost one of the rivco air horns in Alabama a week later to road construction,

I have never heard so many good things about someone who indulges in combustible engines as I have with Big BF. He must be proud. I think I am lucky to only live a few miles from him. When he gets back in town.. My big gurl is waiting to meet you! Oh yeah im setting at about 26mpg too. I guess I could use a little sync...and about 10 other things!

I agree he has an excellent reputation in my part of AZ as well. Maybe next winter I'll get to meet him and see if he will install a 4 degree trigger wheel on my girl.  Roll Eyes
