I just put a new rear tire on and replaced the wheel bearings w/seal, the three O rings, the thrust washer and changed the diff lube.  What else should be done as long as I have everything apart?  I want to keep my Valk in perfect condition.

You may want to pull your drive shaft and check things out there. My pinion cup was all gooed up cause of too much moly and oil was not getting to it properly from the dif. The boot can be a bear, but with just the right facial expressions combined with some alcohol on the boot when slipping it back on it will go.

You didn't state whether you cleaned and greased the drive splines.. And like Larry said, cleaning and lightly greasing the drive shaft ends is a good idea.. When re-installing the differential, tighten the axle retainer before tightening the 4 differential retainers..

If you have powerpoint, I can email you a slide show on removing the drive shaft.....it gives yo an isea wha to expect when you pull it.  Shoot me an email if you want it.

I've found it easier to wait until the bike is back on the kickstand and the jack out of the way to get the boot back on the rear swingarm. Use some wd-40 or grease to help it along.
