I stopped in Ride Now Powersports in Gainesville yesterday. Guess they can't get rid of 2014 Valks. Regular retail was $17998. Marked down to $10998. Told the manager if he could give me $5000 for my 1998 Tourer (not that I like the new one), I would trade. He acted interested,  then went to work numbers. Came back and told me the best he could do was $2850 on mine. Said thanks, but see ya later. They had 1 black still available if anyone is interested.

Try them again in about 6 months. May be another 500.00 off by then.

As I have openly posted in the past I paid $10,998 at Wesley Chapel Honda and their fees were WAY lower than others and Wesley totally did me right on $1,200 in goodies!   Trade in is rarely the way to go.

Gregg just add it to the stable. A few more and you can ride a different one every day of the week.  Grin  I asked them if they might want to buy my Rocket III and they said the one in the parking lot had been there ever since they took over.....no thanks.

No more room in the garage Terry. Not real crazy about the look of the new Valk. Finally got my car tire on my Tourer, not too sure if I like the way it handles yet. Plan to keep it awhile unless someone comes along interested. Kinda like the F6b.

Gregg I went from a Bridgestone car tire that was more "square" for lack of a better term to the Michelin and it was a big improvement.  I can see where you will need a little adjustment period to get used to the difference going from a motorcycle tire.  One thing for sure, you won't wear it out where you need to change it in 8000 miles.
