I need to buy a Seal Doctor and don't know whether to get the small one (35mm - 45mm) or the large one (45mm - 55mm). Thanks!

Wiki says 45mm, but I'm not completely comfortable trusting that source.

Several sources say 45mm  Front: 45mm inverted fork, 130 mm travel

So large or small should work, but one is probably better; if you call and ask them, please let us know what they advise.  Thanks.

Thanks for the confirmation. I called them. They recommend the large size so as not to "stress" the small one, since 45mm is at the upper limit of its application.

Thanks.   cooldude

I have been nursing an intermittent, small fork leak for several years.  Collectively, I have lost very little oil and the forks are still 95% or better.  But my Sealmate is beat up from multiple use, and the Seal Doctor looks like a much better product.

I have the whole bag of rebuild parts, but have raised procrastination to a high art form in my retirement.   Grin
