I bought these back before Gary Eckert (I think that was his name) passed away.  They were supposed to be longer lasting than the Honda rubber dampers as these were made of Neoprene.  I honestly don't remember when I put them in but it has been a few years.  I had been noticing extra slop on acceleration and braking.  Decided I had better have a look.  This is what I found.  They are just disintegrating.  So if you also bought some of the neoprene dampers from Gary you might want to have a look at them.  I ordered dampers from two different suppliers today just to make sure I got some.  If both sets come in I will have an extra set if someone needs them for what I paid for them.

There was a reported "bad batch" about 6 years ago. Don't remember details, but recall Gary was making good on them. But now with his passing about 3 years ago now, they are no more.

I'm sure someone will correct me. I think it's big bike bling who has them now with the same warranty?

(I'll edit my post after I'm corrected. A search may also find what you are looking for)

Thats too bad. I have a set from Gary still in its package but don't know if they are the good ones or not.

It seems to me fellas are now replacing them with those for the Interstate models.

I put a set on my bike a few years back.

Have serviced the pumpkin a couple of times since then and mine are tight and like brand new.  Smiley

Same deal for both my sets on my interstates, like new.

This was only an early bad batch, the rest were fine.
