I don't see a Georgia chapter so I figured I'd harass all of you south of me! Is there a Georgia chapter of the riders in the works or hidden somewhere that I can't find it?

hello, welcome to the board.   there was a GA chapter way back, but it really never took off.
early 2000's we use come up there for lunches, some of us made it a over nighter.  you might be doing that down here cause this group eats early.    ride safe,  Deb

Welcome, from Central Florida!
Come on down and join the group any time you want to. You would be more than welcome.
I know that once it cools a bit that there is a possibility of a ride to the Panhandle and some good seafood and riding. That will be an over nighter for sure so visit the forum often and take part if you like.
What part of Ga. are you from? May want to add your location to your profile so we know.

Welcome to the FL. chapter from the Naples area. I think your lunch rides with the group would be even further than mine. Hope you can find some VRCC members in your neck of the woods.

Conyers is correct...SE of Atlanta by 30 minutes or so. I wouldn't mind an overnighter as long as I can get away from the Sheriff's Office I work for and my wife has the weekend off. This monster is 10 times more comfortable than the Volusia I had previously so a long distance ride won't be that big of a deal.
