I am not sure what the issue is, I suspect that it is the relay, unless the bike as a separate relay for the left and right side turn signals. I have a 1999 Valkyrie interstate. When I turn my key to the one position, my passenger turn signal is on, non blinking. I have removed the bulbs from the front and rear turn signals with no change. I have removed and cleaned the switch with no change. When moving the switch to the passenger side, there is no change. When I move the switch to the drivers side, it come one and blinks, the passenger side is still on none blinking. Based on that, that leads me to believe the problem is not the switch but the relay. As you know the Mitsuba FR- 3303 is very hard to find. Are there any alternative relays that I can find locally at like autozone, advanced auto parts, etc.

I think it's still the switch. There's only one blinker for the turn signals. No relay.

Make sure the correct bulb are employed and are identical from side to side.

Could it be a bad switch? What should I be looking for when disassembling the switch, I have taken it apart and didn't find anything grounded.

I was experiencing this exact scenario. I took apart the handlebar switch, and cleaned it up (sprayed it with WD-40, worked everything around & hit it with compressed air). I put it back together and it was fixed.

yOU MIGHT JUST HAVE A GROUND PROBLEM WITH ONE OF THE LIGHTS AND BACKFEEDING TO THE OTHER LIGHTS. tAKE A METER AND CHECK EACH POST IN THE LIGHT SOCKETS TO SEE IF POWER IS THERE FROM SWITCH. Sorry for yelling cap locks was on too lazy to retype everything. One is for running lights and the other is for blinkers. If power is there the bulbs or ground is most likely the problem.

what you mean by the "driver side" vrs. the "passenger side" in regard to the turn signals.

If I understand correctly, the left front turn signal works properly but the right side does not.
Do you know if your Valk has a device that turns your rear turn signals into running lights, such as a Signal Minder SM-3?
Does either of your rear turn signal bulbs come on when you turn the ignition switch on?
Does the left rear turn signal flash with the front left bulb?
If so, the flasher unit might have been replaced by a device such as the SM-3.
If that is the case, the right turn signal is not working because there is a bad connection between the SM-3 and the right side turn signal circuit. The connections are behind the right side cover in a protective sleeve

If neither of your rear turn signal bulbs come on with the key on then you probably have a stock flasher unit.

There is a section of wiring under the rear fender that can contact the tire in some cases. There is a connector under there that takes the hit. Look at that, while you are troubleshooting, to see if it has rubbed. Might not be the problem, but, could be cooldude
